Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices.
- Conduct regression, functional, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release cycles.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in software QA (manual or automation).
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, JMeter, or similar.
- Knowledge of APIs, JSON, and SQL queries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of performance and security testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- API automation experience.
