About the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations for multi-country entities under GenieSign.
  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including invoice
    processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with relevant accounting
    standards.
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and support monthly closing activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements (SOCSO, EPF, EIS, tax regulations)
    and support audits.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners, including auditors, tax agents, and
    payroll service providers.
  • Contribute to improving financial processes and system efficiencies.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (Malaysia experience is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and statutory
    requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-border collaborative environment.
